Brauereiwirtshaus Sanwald in Stuttgart

Have already used the delivery service twice. The first time the whole knuckle of pork and meat platter, the second time the fish oven pan and the tiramisu. Both times sensational quality, very good and friendly communication and delivery to the minute. Keep it up, that makes Corona more bearable!

In Corona times I recommend the "goose taxi", which of course also brings other delicacies. Save the evening, definitely!

For Christmas Day we ordered Christmas goose with side dishes. The delivery was fresh, punctual and friendly. The goose was wonderful, as were the side dishes and the sauce with chestnuts. Many Thanks! This is what a successful Christmas dinner looks like!

Always very friendly and accommodating. Ambience rustic, pleasant. Changes and requests for the supplements are met at no additional cost. Dishes very tasty. Sauces are still made here by themselves. Grandma's butter schnitzel is fried in butter. The only complaint on my part, I think the side salad is too expensive. Otherwise highly recommended ??. Been coming here a long time.

Yes. Eat really Swabian in Stuttgart. And that with a great price-performance ratio. Fresh salads, hand-scraped spaetzle and, to the point, roasted onion roast with homemade. Bratensauce. And the service: it fits You just have to listen to a saying like it has to be from a Swabian. We'd love to come back.

Very tasty food! I've been there a few times and I've always been happy with the food. Sometimes the staff can be a bit brisk at peak times, but with all the stress they are of course understandable. The steak that I like to eat is always super fried and extremely tender! The ambience is quite quaint but also a bit cramped and outdated. In my opinion much too loud with a normal number of guests. Otherwise great there

I had a schnitzel with fries there. You can see it in the picture. The food was really delicious. There is nothing to complain about. Can absolutely recommend this! Seats would be plentiful, we sat outside on the terrace. Staff super nice and friendly. There is still a star deduction for the really high drink prices. Otherwise everything is great! ?

Best venue I found in Stuttgart on the advice of a local German colleague. Typically German environment with a varied and diverse menu. Very nice staff and exquisite dishes. Sanwald beer synonymous with guarantee. Prices in the norm in a superior room. Best to book in advance.

Same crazy night (we just came from Trollinger) with 3 of my friends. So already a different reception. The personal is friendly and kind this night. He already welcomed us and made us feel comfortable from the entrance!The beef schnitzel is wonderful, soft and with a crunchy cover. Feels good to eat this :))) after that awful schnitzel and reception.

The restaurant offers typical local cuisine in its original interpretation. Interesting decor, nice staff. I recommend, especially because the location outside the center makes tourists rarely get here.

Food was quite nice, good atmosphere and diverse selection of drinks. Really enjoyed the sauerbraten, while others with me had very nice schnitzel. Overall pleasing and reasonably priced evening. Keep in mind, they after cash only.

Good and fast service. The delicious food came very fast. The wheat beer was sensational.

Traditional house. Good middle class cuisine. The prices felt a bit attracted but nice service and nice cozy atmosphere. You can eat well with the family but also with your dog. Courteous service. Christmas dinner is great, goose with red cabbage and nice bedside tables.

Nobody would expect to hear their home language (bulgarian) from the bartender! Awesome place, good beer, fresh food and service is on another level of godlike! Best experience ever!

Perfect food, kind staff

I took my boyfriend here for some traditional German food during his visit, and brought my small Yorkie with us as well. They greeted us with a water bowl and sausage for my pup, and their service only got better from there! The food was delicious, and space was perfect, and the location was ideal! You can enjoy a short walk into the center of the city after lunch or dinner.

Typical German restaurant, the beers were okay, nothing too spectacular.

Really amazing German, specifically traditional Swabian, food. I can highly recommend the “Rahmsauerbraten” and the “Zwiebelrostbraten”. The servers are very friendly and overall you will have a good time here. I always take foreigners or visitors to this restaurant :) Best German food in Stuttgart!

OMG I just died and went to Schwabenheaven!! We do a brauhaus testing tour around Stuttgart, on the hunt for the best schnitzel. Great food and copious dessert selection. All freshly prepared. I have my favorite brauhaus now. Viva le sanwald!

The food was very tasty throughout, but the service was a bit hasty and slightly reluctant to receive us in a friendly manner (including the deductions). The price is okay.

Although there was no english menu, The staff at the restaurant was very kind and explained the regional things in detail. The atmosphere was also good and plate and drinks were impressive. Well harmonized calculated organization. The price is also reasonable.

Great beer, amazing local dishes and helpful, friendly staff. Definitely a highlight of the trip.
